A nice traditional American Indian flatbow. If you're doing the Indian =
Wars it'd be ideal. Not for Regia though.
Things that stand out in the picture -=20
Built up hand grip - this is where the idea of making bows with built up =
handgrips came from - American Indian bows. The feature doesn't appear, =
as far as I've been able to establish, on any european bow before =
examples were brought home by the early colony supply ships in, =
presumably, the 17th century.
Flat section limbs - european bows have thicker, D section limbs, with =
variations through oval and sub-round.
Laminated back - and very obvious too - to be avoided.
