Archaeologists have today discovered a viking ship at Nordheim farm next to
the Hedrum Church in Larvik.

The discovery was made during investigations of land planned to extend the
Hedrum churchyard.

Marine archaeologist Knut Paasche tells NRK that it definitely is a ship,
but not as well preserved as the Oseberg ship.

Traces of yet another buried ship have been found in the same area.
