Western Isles makes it a little easier, since the population was =
principally
derived from Dalriadic Scots [i.e. Irish] and, from the late 8th =
century
onwards, a growing proportion of Norse.

I'd be interested to know what Kathy thinks a 'Celt' would be wearing.
