AH-HA! Just what I thought. I understand there is legislation now to
discourage spammers and if you actually tell them not to send you stuff and
they do, you could more effectively report them.

After all, why should they bother, there are billions more PC's to hit?

The more dodgy sites don't have an "unsubscribe" tag anyway.
