Here's a link to some of the photos Dan Howlett took during his trip to  Austria 
in 2002.  The pictures of two museums he visited were too good  not to share 
(even if they weren't Viking Age.)  What makes the Graz armory  unusual is that 
they allow visitors to handle the artifacts.  As a  result, Dan got some good 
photos of construction details that wouldn't  be possible in nearly any other 
museum in the world.  That - and the  fact that there are over 30,000 pieces of 
military gear in the arsenal.
