[Regia-NA] **High Witan Notice**

The High Witan looms (last November weekend) and this is advance notice for 
anyone with an interest in the nuts and bolts of government. As in previous 
years, all communications will be by electronic means, so if YOU are an 
officer or Group Leader, make sure that I have your correct e-mail address.
Officers. Your Annual Reports are sought. The last day for receipt here is 
20th October. On 23rd, the Official Notice will be sent out to all GL's & 
Officers.GL's should consult with their members & any items generated for 
the agenda MUST be with me by 3rd of November. The agenda will be issued to 
all GL's and Officers on 10th November giving sufficient time for further 
consultation before the meeting on Saturday 29th November. The venue is 
booked & is as in previous years,

Quite a few officerships are up for renewal this year. If officers wish to 
continue in their post or are definitely not standing again, I'd be grateful 
for a note to that effect ASAP. All the posts run for THREE years with the 
exception of the Hon Treasurer & that post runs for FIVE years.

Applicants must submit their Manifesto in writing, have the support of their 
Group Leader (or 67% of their Local Group) and be Seconded by a VOTING 
member of the High Witan. The Manifesto must accompany the application & 
must not exceed two sides of A4, Times New Roman 10 font as a minimum size. 
The applicant MUST be present at the Witan. The meeting will not consider 
anyone who cannot be there on the day.The last day for receipt here is 20th 
October.

Please respond electronically. Hard copy will only be scanned with OCR 
software & included with everything else, so there is no point in sending 
it!
