[Regia-NA] child control!

Thirty years ago when my kids were small, reins and chest harness' in
leather etc were commonly seen. Many a toddler who would have been just out
of arm's reach was saved from being squished in heavy traffic by being
hauled away from the road by his/her reins.
I've seen several Regia parents tie their all-to-mobile crawlers and
toddlers to a tent peg or - in some cases - a steel road pin, well sniftered
in! It always struck me as a damned good idea with fire and sharp things
about on site, to say nothing of dyestuffs and lye for soap making.
Regards,
Kim Siddorn.
