More Old English humor for use in the classroom. Or not...

Grendel's Dog, from Beocat

Beowulf ond Godsylla

Hrodulf readnosa hrandeor

Somewhere in my collection of weird stuff is a copy of Welcome, Christmas (the Whoville Christmas song) in Anglo-Saxon, by the author of Hrudulf, which does not seem to be anywhere on line. If I find it, I'll post it.

Also, for a more academic approach, a book of essays on Humour in Anglo-Saxon Literature, which is expensive enough to make me use the library.
