Check universities and other cultural institutions in your area to see if 
they have an old Norse reading group.

Near me, in central Massachusetts, the Higgins Armory Museum has an Old 
Norse Reading Group with enough members that they've divided into three 
sections, depending on reading ability.  Beginners work through Cathey's 
Old Icelandic textbook to pick up the fundamentals, and the other two 
groups use the _New Introduction to Old Norse_ texts.
