[Regia-NA] Women's knives--what to do with them?

Hi all,
I have seen a picture or two of women with a knife in
a sheath or something tied on to the belt, not hanging
down, but parallel to the belt. Is this the proper
thing to do with my knife? Is that an Anglo-Saxon or
Viking thing. Does anyone have a picture of the
sheath, instructions on how to make, and how to wear
it?
I was thinking I should just fold it into a cloth and
put it into a basket with my eating bowls, but now I
don't know.
Also, what about a spoon? What should it look like,
and where can I get one? I'm supposing you're not
going to tell me "Cost Plus".
