One quick word of advice:

Make sure that you maintain the corporate formalities. It is easy to set up a corporation, but you have to make sure you follow the state law for maintaining the corporation. (Most states require annual meetings of the board of directors. Some states require various other legal formailities.)

Also make sure that you maintain the non-profit status through following the IRS code.
