On BBC Radio Four (where else?) at 11.00AM next Wednesday, there is the first programme in a new series about life in
Anglo Saxon England around the time of the Conquest.

Don't forget that anyone with Internet access can access the programme from the BBC website and hear it via their
computer for seven days after the broadcast.
