There is a good list of games atributed to the Viking age, Kubbb, Glima, Kick step, throw the cod, running, 
swimming, archery contests, Varpa, axe throwing, spear throwing etc etc. Plus board games of course.
 A quick search on the net will get you a few to look at, the rules for Kubb are on the Frojel web page.
