Did the alleged "tech" bother to tell you the name of the virus? Or 
provide a link to resources to detect it? Or do anything besides panic 
over a false virus report? A good part of every work week for me is 
separating the real deals from the hoaxes.

BTW: Here was a good one. You get an E-mail that says you have just 
been given a computer virus because you sent one to them earlier. OK, 
illegal, but whatever. At the bottom is a very visible phone number 
where you can call and complain. It's a foreign pay-per-call number 
that bags you $23US for the connection. Nice scam. Beware!

I know I should have skipped this one, but I'm no gentleman. (nyuk, 
nyuk, nyuk....)
