I have found an easy if time consuming way to warp up.
1 work out pattern you are going to do
2 count number of each colour thread
3 use warping frame (I have a real one but two chairs set at the right
distance also work)
4 wind out correct number of each colour thread.
5. when you have all threads ready 'chain' them together as a bundle as
though you were crotcheting with them..you end up with a rope which *can't
tangle*
6sit in comfortable chair and thread loose ends...no more tahn 4-5 inches
long onto cards..knot each '4' threads..a cards worth.
then put that over one end of the tablet loom and undo the chain until it is
theright lenth....not a unwanted tangle or knot in sight.
