Thanks, Jon. I will definitely check it out. Hazel's Dye project =
sounds exciting. :>)
Does Huck Lace [weaving] go back that far? Or among our people? [I'm =
warping up a project on the loom at the moment & was curious.]
I need to get off my duff & build that WW loom I've been threatening to =
do all winter. That way, I could have two weaving projects going at the =
same time. I also need to warp up the inkle loom. [Yes, I know it =
isn't a period way to weave inkle bands, but I'm not planning to take it =
out into public.]
Is there some point on the learning curve where tablet weaving warping =
becomes simple? I've only done 2 projects & I mutter & grumble all the =
way thru the warping. I feel like I'm all thumbs & there are gremlins =
in the warp. I'm sure a TW loom would help - something other than C =
clamps. &, maybe winding the warp on my mill?
Has it turned Spring anywhere? We're still expecting rain, snow, hail, =
mix & have had it for the past 3+ weeks w/ a few glorious days in =
between. It'll probably turn off 80*F overnight & we'll be gasping. <G>
