I have this wonderful rusty iron hand made cauldron that is no longer good
for food but wonderful for dyeing stuff.
I had already mordanted with alum ages before hand(always do as it can dry
and then be used)....weld added to whetted wool and water...and left just
off the boil til I remembered it (about 2 hours) it is screaming lime
green:)
