Ooops, that's "hold the silk for use in the religious garb, or banner."
(need another coffee this morning)  I don't have much of it anyway, so I
need to be conservative using it so there isn't much waste.

Thanks for all the insight, although most of it has gone over my head...I
just need to know if I use the shiny stuff!  :o)  My thoughts are to
possibly make a Jorvik cap for my daughter (her mother has consented for her
to come over early for her visit this year and she'll get to attend
Fritton!).  But I am still not sure if I want to go with silk, too rich for
my status and I would prefer someone look at it before I use it.  Suppose
I'll just end up making one of linen...I could hold the linen for use in my
clerical outfit, or banner.

Thanks for writing that!  I wish I had a pound, dollar or whatever for every
