  like putting stuff directly against the canvess, which allows the water to
wick (as in candle wick) through...or setting a candle too close and
actually settine the tent on fire.

      there are chemicals......hoever mine are neither and are 12oz duck
canvess and as long as you don't do anything stupid, they are warm and dry.

          It's my (mis?)understanding that you can either flameproof or
waterproof canvas, but not both. Seems to be mutually exclusive.
