<BODY>Thanks a lot Kim!!<BR>That website was so interesting, I spent more than an hour browsing there. I finally had to give in and bookmark it as other pressing matters compelled me to leave. The articles on the merits of peers <A href="http://www.baronage.co.uk/content2.html">http://www.baronage.co.uk/content2.html</A> should be compulsory reading for those who continue to grumble about Regia's ranking system. The system used by Y Cantref of making every fully paid member who had served probation an officer in charge of something (my favorite being the bog-roll officer who was supposed to ensure a plentiful supply of soft toilet paper at campsites but spent most of his time actually rolling in bogs) most perfectly reflected the quarrelsome war bands of the early Welsh princes where everyone pressed some claim of leadership and title and the persons most capable to lead emerged on the battlefields - often from unexpected places (viz incomparable Irishmen of actual English ancestry). I am not up on the latest Cantref politics but as long as the good Brenin is still brewing his elderberry wine, I own it a great place to pay court.<BR><BR>One of these impending matters is a visit to the UK in June.<BR>I should check the Regia website for events but I am torn between exposing my new bride to the craziness of Regia and the weirdness of the Glastonbury Festival.
