Bill, you may have checked this out all ready, but book rate US mail is one
of the cheapest rates for shipping anything that there is.  Start sending
boxes of books to your State Side address now.  3-6 boxes of books could get
you enough shipping to bring a chest or 2 home with you.

Anything over comes out of my pocket and at quite an expensive rate.  So it
comes down to kit/books, or furniture...and I can always buy furniture
stateside...but not necessarily solid-oak-with-hand-forged-fittings sea
chests.
