[Regia-NA] Langseax question

Another question on the seax/landseax,

Is it known if antler/bone was a used material for the handle or only wood? 
I've recently made one for myself (damn, no fuller, sorry) and used a nice 
piece of antler for the handle. Hope this won't take away any points for 
authenticity!
