all this talk of spam was also on another re-enactment list a couple of 
weeks ago and one person there posted this site.

with this program, you run it before you start your email program and it 
checks your mail. Then you just tick which ones are spam and it sends a 
bounce message back saying that this email address does not work anymore.  
After a while the spam slows down or even stops because the spams like to 
keep their lists up to date.
